"I have had an interest in Physical Therapy ever since I volunteered at a clinic when I was in highschool. I love the unique position therapists are in to help patients and get to know them as well. Physical Therapy is more than just exercise, it's an assessment of less-than-optimal functioning of the body which has resulted in pain or dysfunction and a correction of said dysfunctions. Every day and every person is a new puzzle to be solved that can result in calming someone's chronic pain or helping them walk again. It's not only a wonderful career where I get to meet new people, it's a very rewarding career as well."
